This is Turkey. His real name is Cisco, and my mom bought him for 400 from this old lady in a wheelchair. She had a stroke, and she was having trouble taking care of his birds. And Cisco liked to rip her face off.
He's a blue front amazon, and they start at about 900, and cost 1500 at the local bird store.
He's called Turkey because he makes turkey sounds instead of normal bird sounds, but we don't know what's normal for his species. He's sort of an exotic, and we can't find any around that we can listen to to see what's normal.
I took the pic w/o flash so that I wouldn't scare him.
