An Infinite Love: A Sesshomaru Story
Part Three: “Supplies?”
You and Rin play tag outside. You yawn as you carry Rin to her room, she’s asleep on your back. You see Sesshomaru in his study as you walk past. He looks at you, you Kimono makes it look like your floating a little. You adjust Rin as you open her bedroom. You push the covers back on the bed and lay her down. You cover her up and blow out the light next to the bed. Sesshomaru greets you at the door.
“You should go to bed.” He says picking you up.
“I’m fine really. I need to practice my aim.” You say out of habit. Sesshomaru doesn’t put you down as he carries you to your room. He lays you on the bed softly and covers you up.
“Go to sleep. I want you wide awake tomorrow. You are coming with me traveling.” He whispers in your ear. “We need to buy supplies.”
“Yes sir.” You say in your sleep, arm under the pillow.
You wake up in the morning seeing a bag already packed. You pull on a kimono yawning and grab the pack walking downstairs. You see Sesshomaru already waiting for you. You look at him sleepily.
“Did I forget something.” You say following him outside.
“We’re going for supplies. It will be about a weeks trip.” He says pulling you next to him.
“Supplies?” You say walking slowly next to him as he hands you the bow and mask. “Why would I need these?”
“You don’t want the mutt and his friends recognizing you.”
“He knows my scent. I don’t think the mask is necessary.” You say still waking up. Sesshomaru looks at you and you immediately shut up. You walk into the forest. Sesshomaru walks behind you. You turn around looking at him as you back up against a tree. He looks into your eyes again, walking closer to you.
“Why is it I sense so much power in you but you don’t use it.” He says. “It’s built up un able to escape.”
“W…Wh….What are you talking about.” You whisper as you feel his breath on your neck.
“You are not a half breed.” He whispers in your ear hands on your waist.
“I…I….I don’t know what your talking about. I’m human.” You say half of you wants him closer the other half telling you to run. He kisses your neck softly. You close your eyes enjoying it. “Please….Please….stop….” You whisper not wanting him too.
“Your scent is so intoxicating.” He whispers.
You see a flash of red kimono. You, then, see a glint of metal. You push in front of him and close your eyes creating a force field around both of you. Inu-Yasha stands in front of the force field and glares at the two of you. You hear a growl from behind you from Sesshomaru.
“Brother.” Inu-Yasha says, “What did you do to her.”
“I did nothing.” He says. “She is with me under her own free will.”
“Zoë, Get away from him. He’s evil He will hurt you.” Sango says. “Just come over here.”
“No, I will stay here. Sesshomaru gave me a place to stay. I’m not going anywhere with you!” You say. Inu-Yasha’s fang glows red as you look directly at him. “I missed last time I won’t again mutt boy.”
“Don’t call me that!” He yells attempting to break through the barrier.
“I will call you what I want!” You say as Kagome’s arrow breaks through your barrier. Sesshomaru catches it easily. You blink at his speed, you grab you bag and feel Sesshomaru pick you up as clouds form around his feet and he floats off.
“How did I do that?” You say after he lands next to a river.
“You wanted to protect me. You don’t have to think about learning to use your powers, you just have to think about what you want to do the most.” He says. You look at him as he talks just watching him. He looks at you weirdly, you shake your head. “What?”
“Nothing, umm could you look away. I need to wash off.” You say softly.
“Alright.” He says turning around. You take off the kimono and climb into the water washing off. He turns his head catching a glance of your back. You dive in the water as he turns completely around catching a glimpse of your feet. You come back up and immediately covers your breasts.
You blush tying the kimono quickly, as he walks up to you. You feel him kiss your neck again. You smile a little as one of his hands rest on your side rubbing it softly. You feel him slowly push you against a tree and start to undo you kimono. You shake your head moving away.
“Lord Sesshomaru, I can’t….” You start to say but he stop you kissing you deeply. He lets you go mentally swearing to himself on some level. You walk to the fire cooking, adjusting your kimono. After you eat you lay on a blanket and close your eyes sleeping. You feel Sesshomaru lay your head on his fluffy thing, petting your hair softly. You slowly relax more then you usually do. You fall asleep slowly and Sesshomaru kisses you softly on the lips. You smile in your sleep.
You wake up in the morning and you feel Sesshomaru asleep next to you. You cook breakfast and see him slowly waking up. He looks the same way he did when you saw the first time. You smile and hand him something to eat.
“You didn’t need to make food. . “ He says, you shake your head.
“No I should. I wanted you to rest.” You say cleaning up the camp place. “Go ahead and eat. I’m not hungry at the moment.”
“You need to eat. You need the strength more then I do.” He says handing you the plat.
“I am not hungry, go ahead and eat please.” You say as you lean against a tree.
“No you eat. I need to go off for a little bit.” He says leaving the plate and walking off. You take the plate eating it slowly watching him disappear into the forest. “Stay here!” You hear him say. You sit down leaning against a tree.
You have been at the camp for about an hour and still no sign of Sesshomaru. You take the kimono off that you are wearing and swim In the river. You sense a strong demonic presence coming towards you. You climb out and pull on the kimono calling your bow, a shadow appears in the shape of the bow as a snake demon shows up. You put two fingers on the string of the bow pulling it back as the shadows form an arrow. You release the arrow shooting the snake demon in the eye. The snake demon hisses pulling the arrow out.
“You pathetic demon! You can’t even create enough energy to kill me. That bow is nothing.” The demon says as you create another one adding more energy then before into the arrow. You release it again as it flies towards the creature the dark shadows surround the arrow and hit’s the demon in the chest. It screams in pain as the arrow prices it’s heart. Sesshomaru shows up just as the demon dies.
He smiles looking at you. You fall to one knee not used to the loose of power. You feel him catch your arm and pull you up as the bow disappears.
“You can use the powers now can’t you.” He says.
“Yeah I guess. I did that out of fear though. I can’t do it on will.” You whisper. “I just need some time to gather my energy back.”
“I know, Inu-Yasha is nearby though. We need to leave.”
“Just a few minutes.” You whisper.
“Few minutes. Okay.” He says covering you with a blanket. You close your eyes relaxing. You slowly regain your energy, you sense Inu-Yasha. You open your eyes looking at Sesshomaru who is asleep on the ground next to you. You stand up covering him with the blanket as you grab you mask and walk into the forest calling your bow. You walk up to Inu-Yasha arrow drawn.
“Zoe, sneaking up on me.” He says. “You scent has changed hasn’t it.”
“I don’t know,” You say through a growl. “You and your friends are causing trouble.”
“We are just looking for the jewel shards.”
“Jewel shards? I don’t give a s**t, Sesshomaru gives me a place to stay.”
“Sesshomaru is not who you think he is. He will hurt you!”
You pull the arrow back shadows gathering at the point. You feel something go through your shoulder. You drop your bow seeing one of Kagome’s arrows in your shoulder as you fall to the ground in pain. Maruko picks up you carefully. You groan pushing him away, Inu-Yasha looks at you as you pull the arrow out. It burns your hand as you drop it to the ground. Kagome stares at you with a surprised look. Your bow appears in your hand as you look at them. You look up at the sky shooting and arrow up as it explodes. You close your eyes loosing blood fast and fall to the ground unconscious. Inu-Yasha picks you up and Sango ties your hands together.
When you wake up, you see Sango and Maruko awake in front of you. You back up quickly and bump into Inu-Yasha. They look at you.
“You will help Sesshomaru show himself. He’ll try to save you.” Kagome says. “Then we can get the jewel shards he has.”
“Let me go!” You yell the fire in front of you turns to black flames.
“Kagome, we don’t know her power. Don’t make her mad in anyway.” Maruko says. “Listen, Zoë, Sesshomaru is not who you think he is. He can turn on you in any moment.”
“I don’t care! He gave me a place to stay! I will do what ever he asks me to do. He asked me to take care of Inu-Yasha!” You yell pulling at the ropes. Just as you finish your sentence, Sesshomaru shows up In front of you. He quickly unties you and looks at Inu-Yasha.
“You kidnapped her to get to me. At least your getting smarter half breed.” He says helping you up.
“Lord Sesshomaru, I disobeyed you.” You say.
“I will deal with you later. Go back to the camp and take care of your wound.” He says looking at Inu-Yasha.
“Yes sir.” You leave quickly to the camp and take care of your wound. You wince seeing It is still almost healed completely but bleeding some. Sesshomaru slaps you then touches the scar that is left over from wound. You rub your cheek again holding back tears ; he shakes his head.
“You really want to hurt Inu-Yasha.” He says pulling off the rest of the bandage. “You don’t need to attack him anymore.”
“I do what you say. And he attacked me before. I want to get him back, or Kagome.” You say. “But you told me to rest and I didn’t. I disobeyed you.”
He picks you up along with your pack. You hold him tightly as clouds surround both of your feet. You two head towards the village to get supplies. You close your eyes enjoying the wind against you face. You look at the ground and see the people working in the fields. You feel Sesshomaru land and release your waist as you go off and gather the supplies needed. Sesshomaru goes and talks to a man as you look at some Kimonos. Someone walks behind you and places a hand In the center of your back.
“Get your hand off my back.” You say not turning around.
“You don’t even turn around and You know who it is.” Maruko says taking his hand off your back. “Did you listen to us and leave Sesshomaru.”
“No. Now leave me alone before I make you unable to bear any sons.” You say a dagger pointed at his crotch without anyone noticing. He immediately backs off. You disappear into the crowd walking up to Sesshomaru. He picks you up and both of you head back to the palace. Rin is waiting for the two of you . She hugs you tightly and runs around your legs as you walk inside. Jaken takes the supplies and walks off with Sesshomaru.
