The gaia community has a thing for zombies, if it wasn't for the fact that the first two halloween events involved them and then Flarn came back to gaia as a Zurg Zombie after he was 'treated' for his death then right now when the potions were released the community would not have flipped over on itself and nearly riot. Grombies were never this popular until now when the potions brought them to light.
New users only a year or less old that never knew what a grombie was demanded that they be allowed to wear the grombie skin. This being an impossible demand, users started mudslinging, the cleverer of the bunch tossing 'elitism' around. This shows that the grombie skins do look cool and a vast number of gaians do want them.
Given the time between halloween 2k5 and now, the circumstances that happened during the event seem to have been swept under the rug, the potions only cut open those old wounds. Give it time, the next big event, halloween, is around the corner by then this whole fiasco will have once more been swept under the rugs for many more years.
