A Vampire's Heart
Chapter 11
I looked at Corona.
"Are you serious?"
"Yes Jaine. We need to kill them before it gets too late, we have no sheltar now."
I looked at Wesley and Angel, they both still looked so tired and in pain.
I looked at mom, her heart was just broken, she lost her husband and now her son.
"We have to Jaine." Haine whispered. Max ran ran up with Aya by his side.
"Jaine, don't be scarred, we can do this." Aya said wrapping her tail around her so she could touch my arm in reassurance.
"Alright, let's go!" I called. I looked around. Angel was with Corona, Max was with Aya, Wesley, Vincent, my mom and a whole bunch of vampires I didn't even know yet, were all here, to end this war.
"Brother, Cara, you will not die in vain." I whispered.
(That line is so corny though, ain't it?)
Wesley grabbed my hand.
"I'm here Jaine." He whispered.
I squeezed his hand tightly as we began to march into battle.

It was too much to describe. It was horrible, bloody, and a nightmare.
werewolves and vamps were everywhere, fighting and screaming, blood spouting everywhere I turned.
As I fought off a female wolf, I saw Wesley come face to face with Riley again.
"He's still injured from last time, he can't fight him alone!" I thought horrifed.
I shoved the wolf away from me and ran towards Wesley when I saw Riley knock him down.
Ignoring all the other wolves I attacked Riley from behind and took him by surprise.
As I did that, Wesley got the chance to stab him.
"Go Jaine...... Go!" Wesley growled as blood squirted out onto his face.
I looked up at Wesley as he slowly turned into a wolf and started mauling Riley.
I couldn't look, all that blood, it wasn't because I was grossed out, it's that I was tempted by it, the smell, the smell of werewoolf blood.
After tearing Riley apart, Wesley's black eyes looked over at me, he howled and ran passed me to attack another wolf.
I was just about to go after one myself, hen I saw something in the forest, or someone...... it was Shetani! The evil tempter demon!
"He killed my brother...." I relized and a burning rage swept through me.
He was still in the body of Angelus, but I knew it was Shetani, Angel was still fighting and beat up.
"I'll kill you!" I ran at Shetani with my hand on the dagger.
I remembered what Victor the Warlock told me about how to kill tempter demons.
'"Aim right for the center of the heart or a vital spot, make sure you say this spell before he gets away. 'Devil among us sent from Hell, return, return from which you dwell' if you don't say that, the Tempter demon will just find another body."' he said.
'"That's so childish, like that's ever going to get a Tempter demon off our back.."' I sneered.
'"Do not joke Jaine, this works, and it's the only way."' Victor said.
Shetani leaped as I approached him and appeared behind me.
"Missed." He sneered and punched me so hard I went flying.
"Murderor...." I whispered and ran at him again, only this time, I tricked him. To my surprise, and his, it worked.
"Please let this go in!" I begged.
I stabbed Shetani in the chest and when we fell I drove it in deeper.
Shetani pushed me off and looked at his chest.
"Don't you know anything girl?" Shentani snickered and pulled out the dagger.
"The heart isn't in the middle!" He laughed and ran at me.
It seemed like an hour before I was able to trick him again, this time, somehow, I decapitated him.
Black smoke began rising from out of him and evil red eyes and sharp yellow teeth glared at me.
"Devil among us sent from Hell, return, return from which you dwell!!!" I shouted through my own blood.
Shetani screamed suddenly, out of surprise and there was a pitch blackness all around me. And then, after that, my mind was a blank.

"Jaine?" A voice whispered. "Wake up."
My eyes fluttered open and I saw Victor standing over me.
"Victor..." I mumbled.
He silenced me and picked me up.
"You have sent Shetani back to Hell, using magic can make any vampire fatigued. You did well Princess. Rest now."
I sighed deeply.
"What about the war?!"
"The war is over, thanks to you Jaine. They were being controled by Shetani and once you sent him back to Hell, the wolves came to their senses and stopped fighting. Thanks to you Jaine, the war is over. Vex would of been proud of you." Victor smiled down at me. I gasped, and smiled back.
"Goodie....." I laughed and dozed off.
(Just so you know, it's very rare for Victor to smile)

"Jaine! You're alive! And you did it! You stopped the war!" Haine ran up and hugged me when I awoke.
I hugged her back, so happy to see her alive as well.
"Wait! Where's Wesley?!" I gasped.
"He's in the hospital wing. He's gonna live, but he's having trouble healing. Come on. He's been waiting to see you." Aya said and took my hand.
I was limping and I was all beat up as well, but I could still walk.
We entered the room and I saw Wesley lying on the cot, I.V., oxygen tank.
It was a horrible scene, he looked like he was dead already, but then he looked over at me, and his eye was sparkling with happiness.
"Jaine..... You're ok...."
I ran over to him and, trying not to hurt him, hugged him tightly.
Aya left us alone.
"You did it Jaine, you ended the war." Wesley whispered.
"I did, but that doesn't mattre anymore, all that matters to me right now is you living." I cried into his shirt.
I looked up at his face, he was smiling.
I reached around his head and pulled off his oxygen mask.
"I love you." I whispered. I pulled his face close and kissed him.
He wrapped his arms around me, kissing me back.
"I love you too, and I won't leave you." He whispered as our lips parted.
As I layed there, in Wesley's arms, I never felt more happy, or safe.
"You know what?" I whispered.
Wesley looked down at me.
"You have very deliscious blood." I laughed.
Wesley laughed, and that was the sound I've been waiting to here for a while.
