i have embraced the fact
that the man i love
likes another girl
i have even accepted that i am jelous of her
but i know i shouldnt be
i have realized that there is just no use
trying to get him to like me again
so. im just going to sit back
and let God do what he wants
im tired of fighting him
im tired of praying for what i WANT
i dont NEED to be loved with a love
thats more than love
i dont NEED for him to make me feel pretty
i just am telling myself that i need it
so. i have figured out all of that
and then i realized
that i liked not knowing that
i liked being ignorant
anyways im going to go dance around the house
in my underwear
screaming 80's rock into my hairbrush
because i feel like it damnit.
