A divine warrior
Wings spread wide
Sweeping the night sky
It peers down
Eyes flourescent yellow
Pinpricks against the night sky
Wait
It spies a morsal
Scurrying across the ground
Without a second thought
The warrior drops like a stone
Wings tucked into its body
Suddenly its wings unfurl
He sweeps up and returns to his spot in the sky
No, he tells himself
No innocent lives tonight
So the warrior proves himself to be
An unknown hero
