She began typing aimlessly with nothing to do.The words did not want to come.Try as she might it was like pulling teeth.Still she kept pounding on the keys with each word the sound was discordant like nails on a chalkboard.Her mind was imprisoned with no where to go a tortured soul that no one missed.She hated the keyboard her torture device.There was no savior to come to her rescue her penance had to be paid whatever the price..The hours ran together as days disappeared.The mind numbing monotony was her companion,her one true friend,her jailer,her keeper,and her light in the dark.She cried out for rescue but no one came.The words tumbled over and over in her head then did nothing as if they were dead.The hands appeared unconnected to the brain at all.The synapses miss fired again and again no nerves carried messages and none received.A brick wall of silence as far as could see.
