Day 2: I've been trading Gaian goods with this nice Gaian fellow. He seems to be trust worthy and I would like to think of him as a friend. I give him my goods for nothing in return. I hope that he doesn't believe I want anything from him. I simply see a kind soul when I look at him. He does no judge me based upon my appearances. This friendship may only be one way, but to me that's good enough. This feeling is nothing like I feel for my Zurg brethren.

I'm currently in the process of exporting some goods to this friend Gaian, his name is Elvick. He also carries around a Kunai for protection. He hasn't told me why he needs protection, why would he? He's a Gaian... this perplexes me. Perhaps when I exchange my goods with him I'll ask him about it. Surely Gaians aren't cruel to their own kind? I do hope that my Zurg brethren are not what he fears... I can't see that as plausible. He wouldn't accept goods from me if he feared my brothers and sisters.

My curiosity is killing me... I must find out more about this Elvick and why he is fearful for his life. I would like to protect him if it is within my power to do so. My Zurg brethren will have to wait... my friend awaits...
