First of all let's get one thing straight... Anez210 wrote this... I'm only posting it in my journal because 1.) She asked nicely for me to do it and 2.) She already has a story going on in her journal so she didn't want to intrupt it... She would like you to comment on this poem...
I was lost and alone,
Had no one to be there for me.
He came along and he helped,
He said that he loved me,
I was happy to have someone to be there.
But then it happened,
He found out about my true self,
He left me,
Shattered my heart into a million pieces,
Leaving me lost and alone,
And now devastated....
I fell to the ground,
Tears staining my clothes,
Attempting to pick up all the pieces of my broken heart.
Everyone just passed and looked,
No one ever helped.
I tried to hide those tears,
But it was hard,
And I just couldn't pick up all the pieces of my heart.
That's when you came along.
Unlike the others you stopped,
You wiped my tears,
And helped pick up my heart,
You offered your hand and helped me stand again,
And when you tried to return the pieces of my heart,
I just smiled said "You can keep them, they belong to you"
You smiled back and hugged me tight,
Whispered to me "I won't lose them, I'll always keep them close"
You became the hope in my world,
The one who I could love,
Trust that you loved me back.
And when I told you about my true self,
You smiled and held me closer.
I never want to lose you,
The one who saved me,
The one who became my hope,
The one I love more than anything.
