A Vampire's Heart
Chapter 2
"Now what am I going to do? I have to go on some journay that could possibly kill me with that wolf?!" I thought. I kicked my bedroom door opened and sat on my bed. "This is pathetic. Why do I have to go with him? Why can't I just go alone?!"
Then my door opened. It was Wesley with an annoyed face.
"What do you want dog?" I asked.
"Vex told me you asked to come with me..." Wesley said.
I jolted upright in bed.
"I did not ask to go! He ordered me to!" I snapped. "I don't want to go anywhere with you, you mutt!!" I added.
Wesley glared at me.
"Whatever, just don't slow me down." He growled and left.
I screamed in frustration.
"This is going to be a nightmare!" I thought.
"Jaine?" My dorr opened again, but this time, luckily, it wasn't Wesley.
It was Aya, her ears were perked up in curiousity.
"Yea, hi Aya." I said sitting up clutching my pillow.
She came in and sat on my bed beside me.
"Please try and get along with Wesley, he's not a bad guy." Aya said.
"Aya, you do not know how much that wolf annoys me!" I said.
"What exactly has he done to annoy you so much then?" Aya asked.
I thought for a moment, then was silent. Aya's tail flicked in comprehension.
She smiled lightly.
"You like him don't you?"
"What?! Are you crazy?! I absolutely hate him!!" I snapped.
Aya rolled her eyes.
"I'm serious Aya, I really do not like this guy......" I said.
"Then why'd you want to go so badly when you knew Wesley was perfect for the job?"
"Because, Angelus is the one I like." I admitted and sat back down.
Aya's eyes grew.
"Angel?" I nodded.
For a moment, her eyes didn't look in my direction, she was looking out the window.
"You sure about that?" She asked finally.
"Possitive. He's in my dreams every night, and he's beautiful." I said.
"He saved my life, Aya, I have to save his." I lied down across the bed as Aya looked at me. She wasn't smiling.
"What?" I asked. I knew she didn't like Angel because she was in love with Max, but she looked upset.
"It's nothing Jaine. Just don't upset Wesley. He's had a hard enough life."
With a final flick of her long fluffy tail, Aya walked out of the room.
I sat up and looked at the door for a whie, thinking of why Aya could've been sad.
"Oh well...." I thought and dozed off into sleep.

"Get the hell out of bed Jaine, or I'm leaving without you!" Wesley snapped at me making my eyes pop open. I instantly scowled at his voice.
"And so begins my nightmare...." I growled.
"Stop complaining and get dressed." Wesley growled. He was standing outside my door, obviously annoyed to hell.
I rolled my eyes and slowly got out of my warm bed.
I perporsly took a while, just to annoy Wesley more.
When I finally came out of my room, Wesley was leaning against the wall baring his teeth and growled,
"I absolutely laothe you. I really hope Riley gets a hold of you right now."
I gave him a small non caring smile and walked into the main hall.
Wesley walked right past me to talk to my mom.
"Be careful Wesley, Riley will take any oppertunity to kill you. Be on your guard." Haine said.
"I will Haine. I'll return with Riley's death from my own hands." Wesley smiled at her. I rolled my eyes, the Haine looked at me.
"You be careful too Jaine." She said. "And if Wesley gives you an order, do it. No if's and's or but's. Got it?"
"Yes mom." I whispered, I knew she heard it though.
Max walked up with Aya and Vex.
"Good luck Wesley. When you return we have to hang out sometime." Max said.
"That sounds like a plan." he whispered and smiled at Max.
Vex looked at how far away I was standing from Wesley.
"Please try and get along Jaine." He whispered to me, Wesley glared at me from the corner of his eye. I scowled and sighed.
"I can't promise you anything Vex." I said.
He nodded, and walked away.
"Bye! Good luck!" Aya said to me.
I reluctantly followed Wesley out the door.
"Don't slow me down. And don't get in my way." He sneered.
I rolled my eyes.
