Heart of Cold
I once felt the warmth of a beating heart
But fell in love and torn apart My bloodied heart lay on the floor
When again you walked through the door
My heart felt warm and happiness near
When the worst came I realized my fear
You turned to me and said once more I shall bother you nevermore
You gathered your things and out the door you went
The rest of my nights alone I spent
Praying for the moment of your return
Your presence I began to yearn
Years went by and my sadness deepen
My heart felt heavy and mind weaken
A chill down my spine I felt that day
When you came and turned me away
My heart felt cold and my body frail
Nothing left but to follow the trail
The last course of action I took that day
Was the last thing I would take away
My life is forfeit you were my star
But now you are gone and I am no more!
