Powerful and strong
Free and just
Though much does go wrong
America shall never fail
Those that keep it alive
Are our brothers and sisters
The army, navy, Air force, and marines arrive
To keep us safe
They have the courage to be strong
Through death and despair
Rushing in headlong
So that this country survives
They have the strength
To keep on trucking
For time, any length
Through sun our rain
They wear our flag
Standing tall and proud
And will never sag
For they are this country’s soul
some people support what they do
and some protest against
but they do what is right for you
and for all who are American by right
They will always be here
In heart and soul
Never a single fear
Even when faced with death
We owe them a lot
They need our support
Give them what they sought
And let them know we are grateful
