Okay, so I was in Hawaii on vacation, right? Supposed to be happy, right? WRONG.
I was walking back from my relatives' condo to my family's condo, when we heard something meowing. We saw a kitten, no more than four months old, pulling herself along with only two legs. I crawled into the bushes, and we carried her back to the room. We waited an hour for the humane society. 40 minutes in, she was purring like crazy. Anyone could see she wanted to live.
They put her to sleep.
So, in her honor, I'm getting a new kitty, rescuing it from the pound.
