Ok, my friend this morning sent me a PM with a wonderful new pet shop idea that just came into her head. So, im flaunting around the pic in my sig and trying to gain some feedback here xD their PM Anyway, the idea is orphaned/ abandoned child that has a hybrid animal that bond to it because it feels sorry for the child, knowing what it's like to be an outcast itself (In this case those without pure blood are outcast). So the child has a gaurdian and friend for life. But that child and bonded animal get taken in by a new adoptive parent (caretaker) ... This is so far as its gotten, but then again this idea just poped into her head last night xD; So, i request from the breedables world some Feedback and possibly some idea's for the shop. 	Well, I would certainly buy one. biggrin Maybe if there was a way for the two to get back into 'society' by proving themselves to be worthy if they wanted when they were older? Then the caretaker has a role to get them prepared for this. Or there could be a village of outcasts, where each could either have a role in the village or be travellers and go around and bring goods in and stuff. n_n; Just random thoughts. . . 	I love the idea! Though it does fall rather close to a story that I'm writing. animal/kid bonding, not outcast part I think the art is adorable and would love to see this take off! 	Hmmm... to add to the story, since it seems you were asking for help with that: I would place this in a more primitive time than our own. Something akin to Mowgli and Baloo in the Jungle Book. Perhaps civilizations are organized as tribes and the children are outcast from the tribe for failing some rite of passage. Or perhaps the children were just wandering in the woods/jungle and find an animal to bond with. Perhaps an unwanted child was placed in the jungle as a baby to be eaten by the creatures and was instead befriended by one? Or maybe the child has some hidden destiny to fulfill and the animal has found the child to help him or her realize that. Just some musings... 	I love quinny's idea and it seems like it would really fit with the idea so far. 	That is [b]adorable[/b]. Once this shop gets created, is it possible you can send me a PM to let me know? I'm totally gonna stalk this shop. Just a question -- will the animal guardians grow along with the children? Because if so, they'd be like, 100 when the kid is an adult (yes, I'm aware I exaggerate too much >_<), and I know that animals usually die younger then humans (with the exception of turtles/elephants/other wierd things like that), so I would think maybe it would be nice to have the animal start out sort of as a pup/kit/duckling/what have you, so not only do you get to see the baby grow, but also the hybrid. ^__^. Then again, maybe not, because a pup wouldn't really be able to protect a baby that well... :\| This is all just random thoughts I'm processing, but as far as Quinny's idea goes, the tribal thing sounds awesome, but one thing I don't like about "other-world" pets is that I don't get to bring my character (which is based off my avatar >_>) Into it, and I have to create a whole new mother-type character. I also like having one of my journal pets meet another so they can become sort of like siblings or something ^_^. However, if you can find a way to make these tribal-related and such, without taking them out of normal gaian world, that would be doubly awesome. Like, you find them in a primitive forest (also giving the owner the challenge of roleplaying the hybrid guardian coming out of a primitive world into a new-age one XP But all the more fun, eh?) but bring them into the real world or whatever... Also, I heard once people (over time) start to resemble their pets. Wouldn't this be even stronger for those who have "mentally bonded" :D Not to say the child should start growing ears, fur, or a tail... that would be sort of wierd, not to mention unrealistic, but it would be nice if like, they were bonded to a fox/cat-ish thing, so they had sly little eyes, and were very slim and fast or something~ just random ideas. Or if their style is influencd by their hybrid guardian, like they enjoy wearing certain colors of clothing, etc. Hm. 	I love it so much. I'd kill for one! When I read the concept it actually made me get kind of teary eyed because I started thinking of how lonely I was when I was little and all I had was my teddie bear, until I finally got a dog. I was sooo happy and I never felt lonely again. I definetly think this should be RP required, I also kind of think that perhaps the Bond Animal should be defined towards the child's nature(the child would have a history, how they were abandoned, how the animal found them). Example, child is abandoned, lost, or parents were killed in the Amazon. The animal would be something like a Jaguar. Journals and regular activity should most DEFINETLY be a must. It could be something like Anima or Fa'e. Sort of a custom art dealio, that would cost alot but I would quest my heart out for one. I can just imagine the awesome background stories and events that could happen. You should make growth RP required(or they'd have to win the growth in events or quest or something for it), and instead of the animal getting 'old', it could become closer to certain elemental or spiritual properties enhancing its looks. Perhaps the owners of the breedable could play sort of an interesting part in this as well. Sort of a legal guardian of such, who comes into the child's life after they've already been with the animal since they were an infant, and adopts them. However, the animal remains the child's main 'parent', and the child will always be connected to the animal in a special way. I'm a lurker for this one for LIFE! You know what? 	I love the idea, wish I had the talent and the creativity to come up with it. I agree with Unnie and Galazios about having the child gaining some of its guardian traits, not so much physical as habitual. Not that they would become fierce warriors or anythinglike that. xd But like trying to blend with their surroundings or being very agile or flexible. I would love to help anyway I can, even though you probably won't need my help...But if you need mass mailing or such, I'd LOVE to help. 	Ah! yet another of Spazzy's lovely creations ^^. Its a lovely Idea.. hum so what would the stages be.. child and guardian.. then teen and guardian.. then adult and guardian? or would the guardian and human bonded together? I know Spazzy is good at anthro ^^. I imagine this will be yet another RP intensive one. Pity.. well if you need a colourist should the shop take place, give me a PM. Or even if you wan't a hand in another way.. I do love helping and i'm never to buzy, lol. Oh and I belive a few have said this.. your probably going to want to make each one different.. many shops like that get different artists Like two or three if you do do it maybe line some up or it might be to much stress on just one.. 	Well! This looks like an interesting idea. I would really like to see this as a shop. I have a question though. Say that the kid up there grows with the wolf creature.
