In a world where no one can see, There's no worries about who we should be. No one can judge, no one can poke fun, snicker, or jeer. No one can call you names or cause you to fear What others think of you because your looks aren't up to par. In this world, no one cares who you are, How you look, what you wear. All that matters, is that your there. This life, with the lights out, is a life for me. My eyes don't need to be closed, and I don't have to be That glamour girl, or just someone I'm not. Why should I be, when all that I've got, Is myself when the day is done? No one else, just me, the only one Who has to look at me longer than they do. Who has to live in this skin, me or you? I'm comfortable with who I am, and what makes me, me, What I am, and who I plan to be. Anything and everything, that you are not. I live with the lights out, at least I don't have to see you rot In your world of falseness and plasticness. I live in mine, where there's happiness. I live in a world, where the lights are out. No one here cares how you look, as long as your about Being true and who you really are one the inside, There's no need for shame, or a reason to hide. In this world where the lights are out, there's the real me. The real person, who I am not afraid to be.
