a broken life,
a shattered home.
a messed up mind,
afraid to be alone.

His heart is broken,
she did him wrong.
She left him waiting,
to die alone.

He called and called,
but she did not answer.
he begged and pleded,
but she could not hear him.

his tears soon turned to dust,
from crying for so long.
his mouth soon become dry,
from constantly singing that song.

All that is left,
Is a broken man.
He does not talk,
or speak her name.

He sits in shame,
wonder about all those years.
as to why,
she left him there.

I see this man,
from time to time.
he lays there waiting,
for her to return.

He will not stop,
till she returns.
he will not die,
until she comes home.

One morning,
when i went to see him.
He said I love you,
And Ill see you soon.

Now i lay my hand,
acrossed his chest.
I whisper softly,
Im sorry I waited so long.

No days went past,
that i didn't think of you.
I wanted to see you,
but someone told me i could not.

Ill be there,
waiting for you.
so please my love hurry up,
and follow that light on down the tunnel.


This poem is about a women who left the man she loved. She ddn't want to leave but sickness got to her. she waited and watched as her ture love faded away. when she went to see him she disobeyed the rules. This poem is also about love. about waiting for love to find out. It may be confussing but it makes sense to me.
