I've tried to stay out of the whole "Violence in video games" debate, partially just because I thought that people like Jack Thompson were douchebags that most people wouldn't want to listen to anyway, but the other reason that I never like to talk about it is because I had never really heard the arguements for the sex and violence. It was because I didn't care, as long as it didn't effect me. Then my mother started to yell at me about how I'm going to be the next mass murderer or rapist because I play and enjoy GTA IV. Normally, I don't pay her any mind, but something made me listen to her...for once. To get to the bottem of this conondrum, I did a youtube search for the boredom struck, and I went on youtube search for the debate. And All I can say is this:


What. The. ********.


Lets get some ******** facts straight right now: Jack Thompson, for you to even suggest that you have the correct morals for the entirty of this generation's youth is an abomination on the face of this country and yourself, along with any idiots who put stock in the s**t that comes spewing out of you condesending pie hole. You are a pathetic smear on the human genome of the world, and I would not be saddened in the least if you were to be beaten to death with copies of Mortal Kombat and Bloodrayne. It would be a deserving fate for you, considering how much you think most of the world gives a flying ******** about your asinine opinion.
If video games cause violence in the youth of america, then surely the wars we see and the movies we watch influnce us too? If that's the case, then how come you haven't whined about them yet? Face it: You're old and afraid of change, and cannot accept video games as the valid artform that it is. Go bury your head up your a** so we don't have to look at it any more; I'm sure you can fit in there. That tree branch you had in there earlier must've streched it out at least a little.
