Momo was a big white cat that loved to hunt. Momo would always go and
hunt anything he could find. His favorite thing to hunt was rabbit. He
would always go and find as many rabbit as he could get. He treated
hunting like a game. Many of the village people became afraid of him
and
no longer pet him. Momo was very angry because he loved the attention,
but he didn’t want to give up hunting.
Things in the village were not very good. The village people mainly
ate
fish, but this year the fish supply was low. People were becoming weak
and had little energy. Momo knew he had to do something. Momo thought
about it for a while and decided that if fish were gone they would need
a
new food source. Then he decided that food source would be rabbits.
The rabbit population was high which made hunting very easy for Momo.
He
went out and collected as many rabbits as he could. The only problem
was
that he didn’t know how to carry all of them back to the village.
Then he
spotted a green bandana decorated with monkeys and bananas. He decided
it
would be perfect to bring the rabbits to the village. Momo dragged the
bandana with the rabbits stacked on top of it back to the village.
When the villagers saw him they were amazed. They all ran out of their
homes to go and thank him. All the villagers were petting him and he
was
very happy. He was glad everyone was proud of him because he loved to
be
around people. When Zeus found out what he had done he honored him by
turning him into a constellation that way everyone could be proud of
him.
Now he is among the stars and is the brightest constellation in the
night
sky.
