She was surrounded by a sea of trees, swaying with the sighs of grief. Laying there, she closed her eyes as a single tear fell down her cheek. Her bright green eyes looked up at the cloudy skies. Rain slowly fell down on her. A smile formed across her face as she got up off of the bench. Standing there, she closed her eyes again, putting her arms out to the sides of her.
If only I could just fly away with you.
Slowly, her smile faded. Tears covered her face, but were hidden by rain. Coming up behind her, he wiped her tears away.
“I’m here Stephanie…always.” His voice faded.
Turning around, she saw nothing but a trail leading her home. A strand of hair fell in her eyes as she looked down, crying.
I miss you…
She shoved her hands in her pockets and sighed, causing the wind to blow.
Is this a curse, or am I going to be able to control this?
Rain fell around her, drenching everything it touches. Her hazelnut hair blew behind her as she sighed again.
