The Lost Demon ~Prolouge~
The Lost Demon
Prolouge

He gasped as the sudden burst of air swept into his lungs. He wasn't used to this.
It was bright, a lot brighter then Hell.
"What is this? It's so clean and crisp... Is this what they call oxygen?" He thought.
He blinked his eyes open and looked around. Rolling hills covered in trees, vegetation, rocks and animals were as far as his eyes could see.
"Is this.... Earth? How did I get up here?" He whispered. As he looked around the landscape, all he could think about was the huge difference between Earth and Hell.
"Earth is do different..... There's no fire, or 24 hour darkness." He thought looking at the blue sky. He slowly stood up. "What happened?" He whispered, as his black hair fell over his golden eyes. "I remeber talking to Sin, but what happened after that?" He tried to remember what Sin was saying to him.
-------
"You do not belong here Damu! You have caused too much trouble! You have just crossed the border line! What were you thinking?! Reviving a mortal!?"
Sin yelled.
"Please Sin! Give me another chance! It was an accident! Really!" He begged.
"Damu, you do not have what it takes to remain down here. You may be a full blood demon but you sure the hell don't act like one!" Sin said.
Damu remained silent after that.
"I do not want to do this Damu, but to keep the others safe, I must banish you from Hell and send you up." Sin sighed.
"To Heaven?" Damu whispered.
"No. To Earth. Prove to me you trully belong down here, then I will allow you to return." Sin said. Damu nodded.
Sin nodded his reguards then sent Damu to Earth.
--------
Damu stood there, recalling that conversation. He stood there thinking about it until he felt something on his head.
He looked up and noticed the blue sky was gone and was now shrouded in grey clouds. Cold tears were pouring out of the clouds.
"The clouds are crying? No.... this must be what they call rain." He thought.
He put his head back and relaxed as the rain hit his face and cooled his skin.
He has never felt rain before, only the heat of fire. He sighed in contentment as the water trickled off his face.
"This feels good..... Maybe...... Earth won't be so bad after all." He smirked at the thought. He was the only demon on the face of the Earth, and he was going to enjoy it.

Hm....I was really hoping for a continuation of the Vampire series, but that's okay. I'm sure this one will be better, or at least different!
