To Rin,
From the time we met you, we could tell who you were, Hano's nephew and my wonderful son. Your mother is human, but had enough reaitsu to see us. But when we had a talk with our father, Enma, he wanted to fight us. At our state we would lose. I was to injured from the battle with another arrancar to ever recover. We knew Enma would beat us. Enclosed is Hano's captains robe. Wear it like you are Hano, to keep his memory alive. He wasn't liked much in Soul Society, so be careful. Live long my son, and stay away from the masked men and women, arrancars, and hide. Goodbye.

P.S. Head toward the 8th squadron and there you'll get all the info you need. Just tell them your name is Rin.

He's not good at writing goodbye letters I thought. But then it hit me. He was father and Hano was my unle, both killed. I got out the capsule and looked at it. How was I supposed to open it. I hit it against the wall, and luckily it cracked. It's a good thing I weightlifted everyday or I probably wouldnt have broken it. I kept hitting until in shattered which took forever, maybe 30 hits against the wall.

I flung the cloak over me and jumped down to the next building, and continued till I could just hang from a building a drop down into a crouch. Another guy in the black garb came by and I asked, "Where is the 8th squadron?" He pointed and I went off in a quick run.
