A Vampire's Soul
Chapter 12
"No! Don't!" The tempter demon screamed and I stabbed myself.
The blood rushed out faster then I thought it would. I screamed, but the pain I was screaming from wasn't in my chest, it was coming from my head.
A black shadowy thing came flying out of my mouth like smoke out of a chimney.
It had no figure, but glowing red eyes and yellow razor sharp teeth.
"You have become too much of a threat to me Vex. I am sad to say that you have missed your heart. There is still a possibility you will die, but there is also a possibilty you will live. You will continue trying to kill me if you live, so you are a threat to me. I'm leaving to find a new body to posses... then I will return. To kill you." The Tempter demon grinned and dissapeard.
I was gasping, with every gasp more blood squirted out. Now was when I felt the pain in my chest. I fell on my side and threw the knife.
I was beginning to cry, until I relized something.
My hands were normal....no claws, just nails, human nails....
My teeth were back to normal, only two were sharp and on the top row.
I was a vampire again!
"I'm a vampire again....... that means, there's a chance I could get out of this!"
I thought. "I am the Kings son after all!"
I lifted my bloody hand up to the hole in my chest.
"Healing thoughts sent in flight, bring the blessings of the night,
Send this healing white light above, surround me now in healing love"
I chanted the vampire healing spell out loud. My hand over the hole began to glow and a ribbon of white light entered my wound. It was painful. More painful then the actual stab itself. I gritted my teeth and tried to hold on t it.
(Only royal vampire's can do spells)
The hole slowly began to close. The light around my hand faded, but I still couldn't move.
"I've lost too much blood" I thought, my eyes fluttering.
I passed out from fatigue and bloodloss, and I remain there, passed out, unconscious in my own blood.

My eyes fluttered open. I was in a hospital room.
I looked around and recognized, I was home!
I see Wesley on his stretcher across the room from me.
"Wesley?" I whisper.
He looks over at me with his good eye.
"Hey, you're awake. You must've lost a lot of blood, you've been out for a while."
Wesley looked a lot better, he was sitting up now, and actually eating! I smiled, but then what he said triggered into my mind.
"How long exactly?!" I asked.
"About a week I'd say.." Wesley cocked his head sideways as he ate.
My mouth dropped open.
"A week?! Who found me?!" I asked.
"I did." The door opened and Jaine walked in.
"Jaine?" I whispered.
Her long black hair was even longer now, it was behind her knees!
"That's long a** hair." I thought.
"Hey..... brother." Jaine whispered.
"Wait, brother?! You admit it now?"
"I kinda have to.... they took a blood test on me." Jaine smirked.
I smirked.
"Where's mom and dad then?" I asked.
"Their geting a search patrol ready to go kill that Tempter demon that left you... Oh! take a look! You're eyes are back to normal!" Jaine held up a mirror.
I smiled. I had my red eyes again. No markings.
"Good...." I whispered. Then Cara ran in.
"Vex!!! You're awake!" Cara ran to me and hugged me.
"Cara." I whispered and hugged her back, so greatful she was alright.
"I was so scared when I saw Jaine walk in the door with you all bloody like that!
I was so scared at first!" Cara smiled.
"At first?" I asked.
"Until I noticed you were a vampire agin. That's when I knew the Tempter demon left you, I knew you'd have a chance right then and there! Plus, I noticed you did a healing spell! You're getting good!" Cara laughed.
I laughed with her and kissed her.
"I'll be alright..... but..... I am hungry.." I sighed.
Cara, Wesley and Jaine laughed.
I smiled, knowing I was safe.
