Where I bring you down

Always flailing in shallow water
Diving into a rock bottom

Standing once more on top of the mountain
One hand in each others, the other behind cold backs
Gaze into the jokers eyes from the serpent's
And clench on to the only thing you have left to defend yourself

Blood pushed through uneasy veins with sideways glances
Grips tightening, eyes locking and tongues melting
Searching for our last goodbyes couldn't be easier
One dagger, one rose, both covered in a single tear of crimson

Roses in the hand of a joker are never to be placed
Into the hand of another
While daggers in the serpents hands; deadly.

Let die and decay this rose in the jokers hidden hand
Dagger in the serpents hand rose and fell
A single tear fell from the only one laughing
