Now, storytime.
biggrin
When we left on Sunday, everything was going well. Mainly because we left on time, but also because the truck was pulling the trailer rather smoothly. About an hour out of town (remember, this is Montana), we (going 70mph with a 28ft trailer behind us) see this pickup stop dead in the middle of the highway. My dad struggles to stop the truck and ends up three inches away from the pickup and halfway into the ditch. The driver doesn't even look in his rearview mirror and drives off.
Two hours later (not much I can say about the two hours, I was sleeping, hee.) we finally make it to Billings. Billings is situated in a valley, so on the road looking over...our truck looses power. It doesn't really die, but will not go over 20mph. My dad pulls over and unhitches the camper to take it down to (hopefully) be serviced. After the camper is off and the truck is refueled, it seems to start working fine. So back on goes the camper and we head to Sherridan, Wyoming, around 3 hours away. However, the truck continues to misbehave and it takes us five hours to get there. We pull into a KOA and camp for the night, hoping to get the truck looked at the next day.
The next morning, it is determined the truck needed a new fuel filter. It gets replaced and we set out for Casper, two hours away. The truck acts naughty once again and it takes us four hours. My dad realizes it's an electrical problem, since it gets better when he shuts the truck off and restarts it. In Casper, the mechanic explains that our fuel injectors suck and need to be replaced...an eight-hour job. We settle in a nearby campground and stay for two days.
During the stay, we're given a loaner car to get around town. While at Wal-Mart, a freak rainstorm hits us and the strong winds blow a shopping cart into the car, causing a huge dent.

After that, we had a fairly nice drive. However, 50 miles away from my grandma's in Missouri, the tire stem blew out of our tire at a gas station.

An hour and a half later, we're on our way.
The middle of the vacation is rather uneventful. Went to Silver Dollar City, visited my grandma, Pennsylvania, the beach, reuinion, back to Missouri.
When we arrive back in Missouri, my grandma has the opportuinty to move into an apartment. We stay two extra days and help her move.
On Saturday, we head out for home. Two hours away from my grandma's, my dad realizes the trailer hitch (on which is hooked the UHaul to bring all our stuff home) is cracked and falling off. We move all the stuff into the camper (seriously packing it in) and take two hours to return it. We make it all the way to Sidney, Nebraska and then a tire on the camper explodes. Literally.

Two hours and a big rainstorm later, we stop for the night.
The rest of the trip was blissfully peaceful.
I hate vaction.

The last picture looks neato though, I've never seen an whole exploded tire. Only bits and pieces on the highway. xD
And don't worry. Your home now, and you won't have another vacation for at least some time now xP <3
