Have you ever saved something, without knowing why, except that it means something to you, and then stumbled across it later, only to find it's exactly what you need?
Maybe a letter, or a poem, or a song, or something a friend wrote you, and somehow, it pertains to everything in your moment, and the world almost sighs around you, like it was just waiting for you to find it?
I don't know. My life feels like I'm at a bit of a turning point. I'm nearly 18, and I'm starting to look at colleges, but at the same time, I feel like I'm clinging to my old self a little harder than I should.
I got sick with mono and strep, which has knocked me out for like 3 weeks, and I've spent it on my couch, spending time with my parents, and just not having to worry about really anything.
And it felt good. I'm not sure how I never noticed how wound up I get, stressing over every little thing in my life.
And then I got on gaia, and I ran into something someone wrote for me a long time ago, and it was everything I needed. Something that told me, ya know, ya screw up in life, but as long as you change a couple lives for the better, it all works out okay.
Now I'm just kind of enjoying the sensation of being very me, no struggles, no petty dramas, no stress, just me, in my mind (scary, I know) and the world that lies there.
Oh, and I may be moving back to Colorado. ^_^ sooner, as in for college, wouldn't THAT be strange! heart
