Cupcakes are my favorite to make... here's the only simple recipe from the really difficult cupcake book -------->
Strawberry swirl buttercake
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup of self-rising flour (you can also do- 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 1/4 of baking powder and pinch of salt)
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons strawberry jam
Maple frosting
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup powder sugar
2 teaspoons maple-flavored syrup (you can just eye the amount because it's hard to get it out of the measurement cup)
*The frosting gives the heavy butter side of the cupcake, also put a good amount of maple syrup to add the taste*
My mom took the cupcakes to work and it looks like I'll get some money off of it, yay!
Maybe I could drop the cupcake and make it a cake...I wonder if that would come out?
Gonna eat sushi tomorrow...happy birthday to me~
