Can't find the world around me. Everythings a blurr. Can't seem to get myself to act to be who they expect. Who they accept, the one that can't possibly be anything but what they see.
Can you see the light? Can you feel the darkness, wrapping around you like a warm blanket? Do you feel the coldness that slips through, till your ingulfed in it.
Can you ever escape from your own thoughts and actions? Can you start over and fix what you broke. Hating the love you've recieved because you know it's false, like the lies you spin. Hating yourself for the show you must preform when your dying inside. Help is unwanted but needed at the same time.
Can we forgive ourselves for what we have done to make our lives this horrible. No one can save, and no one can heal what's in the past. But we can try to make it better, even if it seems impossible.
Hopeless, useless, and a waist of their time. That's what we really are. Nothing but a pain in their side. Can't fight the reasons they have to keep us away. Held at arms length, as we do the same. Hurt before and not willing to let it happen again, can we trust the ones we love with our hearts so fragile? Or do we keep it locked away behind the walls that inclose our heart.
Do we let the walls crumble when it seems like everything is ok? Do we ever let someone in? Is there no better way to see ourself then in the eyes of another? And if so, do we let their opinion of us rule our world.
Do we strive for perfection because it's what is expected, or do we need it for our own personal reasons? Does anyone even care?!
