They’re hearts are numb
Without any care while they occupy themselves
With little consideration of us
Do they not see the pain we hold
The little knowledge they have
We drag ourselves around
Hoping not to get hurt again
While they walk with their heads held high
While ours are covered with fear and abandonment
Do they know, do they really
No, but we can help them see
We do exist, we just don’t feel like
So we’ll release ourselves
And we’ll make ourselves noticed
By letting go of our lives
I’m hiding that side
Waiting for somebody that’ll understand
I want to hold their hand
And know that I’m secure
I don’t want to doubt myself anymore than I have
But when will that day come
When I won’t have to worry
