last weekend i went backpacking w/ my bro and his best friend.
it sucked
they were so annoying and when they were around eachother they wouldn't stop talking so i could just listen to nature. and that's the part i like about backpacking is the quietness and everything.
also i just got over streph throat so i still had all kind of crap going on w/ my throat so i was not int the best shape.
and it sucked cuz my brother half of the time was setting a 1/2 a mile an hr pace during poits where i would have luved 2 and easily done 2 to 3 mi an hr.

but the awesome parts were when when spent the night at shelters with through hikers(one day in the somewhat near future i hope 2 b one of those through hikers.
the first night we stayed w/ these 2 thru hikers and i think there names were daniel and micheal. we came in @ 11 at night but luckily they weren't asleep yet. there was 6 of us in a fairly small shelter and we were squished.the next day we stayed at another shelter that i really liked this guy came and had dinner at our shelter then kept hiking and i think his trail name was bones.that night another thru hiker came in at like 10 and his trail name was privy monster. i think thats a pretty cool trail name and get this: we had at least one toilet eachday which i have never had happen but what sucked is that u weren't allowed 2 pee in them. it must have been guys who made that rule cuz 4 gurls on the trail it is pretty much as hard 2 pee as it is 2 take a dump. the next day we say like three boyscout troups. do u have any idea how weirdly boyscouts look at a 13 yr old gurl on the trail, it is really hilarious. but that night we stayed @ a shelter that had 2 levels and we stayed at the top. we shared that shelter w/ 6 other people but i only know one of there names and that was yazi he was really cool. we shared the loft w/ to twin women who were in there late 50's and ther whole time i was think "that is so mollie and chelsea in the futre" .
