My iPod is ********.

All my files are unrecoverable, but thanks :devbrawnyfanta: for the linkages anyway. My IT guys did everything they could, even deep scans! But it's the hardware that's rooted. Completely, utterly ROOTED.

It's back at the mac shop now, and they are doing all they can to repair/replace the hard drive, but they think it's more likely that it is going to be replaced. My poor Prune! surprised crying

It is under warranty by - get this - two weeks surprised

But maybe I could coax them into letting me pay a bit extra and upgrade it to a 20g model w/colour screen... Hmmm... *evil mind wiles away*

So now, until october, I have to work at breakneck speed to recreate the images that were lost - which was in the range of 65+ for finished images, and I think it was 41 new ones from the 'Swallow' photoshoot - which I'm going to have to completely retake sad

Ah well. You know what they say about life when everything is running smoothly.
