gonk an entire day of NOTHING...

crying I had great plans today, but accomplished hardly anything. I did get some artwork done, but I'm waiting until I can get my new scanner to scan it. However, if I don't get my new scanner by Tuesday or Wednesday... I'll go ahead and use my old one, and just do clean up work like I usually do. I'd rather wait and get a higher quality scan though, if I can.

Basically today just turned into doing a lot of cooking, a lot of cleaning, and a lot of grocery shopping, since we're about to get hit with another freaking hurricane. For the record... I freaking HATE hurricanes.

Anyhoo... other than that, I roasted a prime rib for dinner, for my parental units. gonk I can't stand steak, but of course, "ohhhh, Amy, can you cook this? You could do a better job than we could." <<sigh>> apparently they liked it too... So I suppose that was a good thing. I didn't try it myself. Beef isn't my thing. in fact, the only major way I'll eat it is in the form of hamburgers. I'm real close, basically, to being a semi-vegetarian.

Now then, i'm making plans for tomorrow, AGAIN!! sweatdrop I hope to get out and do some job searching tomorrow. I really need to get a steady job. eek must... feed... cel... addiction...

And on that note... I'll probably be updating my cel collection site next weekend. I've got about twenty new cels, but will probably ony update around ten. I'm waiting to scan the others.

Lastly... while on that subject... does anyone know where to purchase a really big flat bed scanner that isn't horribly expensive? I'd like to get something that I can scan entire cels (with full sized backgrounds) in one pass. Not sure a regular flat bed scanner, available publicly, is available in that size... but yeah, i'd like to find one if I could. That would require a bed size of about... hmm... 12 inches tall by 16 inches wide.
