Strange

Waiting in the dark of the night,
Wondering when the sun'll come up,
Waiting for the night to end,
Wishing it would go away,
Trapped,
Outside,
In the cold,
With people all around,
Strange,
Vicious,
Violent strangers,
A fight started,
Fighting over me?
A gorgeous man breaks up the fight,
But he doesn't look like a man,
More like,
A kid?
About fourteen years of age,
Why would he be out at this time,
Wandering about the streets,
With people such as me,
But that doesn't matter when the cops come,
Breaking up the fight that was still going on,
Everyone skattered,
Running away,
As I am.
