This is a journal I kept while I went to Europe a few weeks ago. Please note that this exactly what I wrote and was likely very sleepy or hungry at that time. This is just us on the flight over to Britain. We stopped in Houston first (for what ever reason) and then took a flight over to Gatwick, Britain.

Day 1 3:00PM (central time)
We arrived in Houston about an hour ago. It’s been very boring ever since. Everyone has just been sitting around by the gate. On the flight over here I saw two forest fires and a lot of the houses in Houston have pools.
Right now I’m sitting against a pole writing this. Two of my friends next to me are playing video games. I think I’m going to listen to some music now. I actually fell asleep on the flight here listening to music. It was a nice sleep.

Day 2 5:38 AM (London time)
It seems like I’ve been awake for 24 hours. Wait a minute…I have! I really need some sleep but my body won’t let me. Really shouldn’t have taken that nap.

Time at home: Midnight…its late.
Current location: About 200 miles south of Iceland
Distance to target: 1000 miles
Stomach growling. Outside the ocean is not visible, just covered by clouds. It Feels like its been forever since I last saw land. (That was when we passed Newfoundland.) Only thing entertaining are a bunch of movies that they have for us on the flight. Cutting off now. Too hungry and tired.
