Housing finally mailed me my move in date.

I wasn't sure for a while if I even had housing for next semester. Mom couldn't find the reciept or remember if she had even payed the down payment. I couldn't either for that matter, it was months ago.

I really need to get more organized.

The Housing lady that answered when I called to confirm was all grouchy. Yeah, its my fault that I couldn't find a reciept, but does it really take that long to check on the computer right in front of your face? gonk

I tried to be nice, really I did, but she kept trying to blow me off. May not seem important to her, but with 2 weeks till move in and me being uncertain if I'm even going to be allowed in there? That's damn important. Too late to find off campus housing, that's for damned sure. Only 800 students get into the dorms, per year. There are over 30,000 students on campus.

Yeahsure I'm going to let you blow me off, lady. rolleyes

Mailing out check in notices a week and a half before actual check in seems a little shoddy to me.

So, I have housing. Yay. I also have new roommates. 5 brand new roommates. I don't know whether to be happy or sad. For all that Kathy and Mandi could get hella annoying when they fought, or Nat with her shallow moments and pigsty side of a room... I'm going to miss them. And Mia, and Nell, and Brian. They were okay once you knew how to handle them. What to say, what not to say, that sort of thing.

I was used to them. At least it won't be as hard to get settled in this year, knowing what I know now. I mean, I hope it won't be.
