When we look around the world today,
All we see is fears.
Everyone's too caught up in their lives,
To see others tears.
All is numb and unaware,
Our world is left alone and uncared.
It is crashing down right before our eyes;
But no one reacts,
No one replies.
It's happening all around us but nobody really cares.
Nobody looks beyond the surface,
We're all so unaware.
To blind to see the truth,
To selfish to even try.
In this world,
Nothing is left untouched;
All is a lie.
So many suffer,
Afraid to go another day.
So many fear,
Yet all they can do is pray.
Pray for the best,
For the soft whisper of hope to be found.
But everyone is so unaware,
Nobody bothers to look around.
Look at the world we've created,
And try to tell yourself
We're doing the best we can.
The hopes,
The dreams,
The careful plans.
They're all crashing down;
And it's all left in our hands.
