Head over heels from the start,
My ego torn and shattered,
I give you my heart,
served on a silver platter.
You smile and take it,
hold it close for too little time,
tell me this love will never quit,
giving me this power of rhyme.
You mutter those words,
"I will never forget you."
But then something occured,
after I said it too.
You forgot about my heart,
as you let it fall to the ground.
Like a speeding dart,
my heart shattered without a sound.
My ego mored bruised,
harmed more then the start,
This feeling of being used,
now swallows my heart.
