beaten and frayed,
my heart lies on the floor,
broken from all it gave.
I sit alone in the dark,
tears streaming from my eyes,
dieing from my own remark,
Where I had to say my goodbyes.
Regretting every second,
and dieing even more inside,
to you I cry out and beckon,
and my heart and mind collide.
All say to follow your heart,
but what are you supposed to do,
when you live this far apart,
and you know theres already two.
My mind says you cannot,
So I force myself to move on,
but still I give it much thought,
what if you're not really gone?
