Chapter 2
His eyes were pale as Lisam and my skin, but except it shinned with absent light. His hair was mixed with pure bronze and very silky black. It was lying down on his right eye, which made him look so hot. His body figure was so perfect; it was like no man could go against his beauty. His uniform was astonishing on him, but… Where did the tie went? I stood there with Lisam motionless. I was always afraid of cute guys like him. Actually, I was shy around guys, guys like him.
I forced my elbow to nudge Lisam by her side, and whispered, “Who is this guy?” Lisam turned to me and gave me an I-Don’t-Even-Know look. “Don’t know,” she said quietly, as the guy still stared as us with his, All-So-Hot-Smile. “Maybe he could be one of those guys who just got transferred here!” We both turned to him once more with a shy look. But within a snap, the mysterious guy has disappeared.
“That was somewhat WERID!!” Lisam squeaked as we both slowly and steady walked down the sidewalk. And I do agree with Lisam. I mean, it’s really impossible to disappear within seconds, unless they “quickly” hid somewhere. But really, there’s no such thing as a person disappearing in seconds.
“Oh Xiah! Let’s go to the forest again! I want to see how our tree has grown!!” Lisam cried, forgetting our tree that we have made in the forest. I shrugged.
“Sure! Why not...” In our childhood past, we always liked to play around the forest, and we still do now in the present. When we were little, we planted out tree in the middle of the forest, representing that it was our territory. After minutes of finding our tree, a very, pure, and clean tree appeared, having an L+N+BBF marked on the tree trunk. Yup, it was defiantly ours. Lisam was the first to ran, which left me behind. We then played around our tree, praising our tree how tall it has gotten. The green leaves sparkled like emeralds when bright beam stunned on it. The height of the tree was large and deep, powerful and loud. All sorts of animals scattered around our tree, which it made it very special. We both started to climb on our tree, which kind of took us a while. For the rest of the afternoon, we talked about our life, our grades, our deepest secrets, and even gossiping.
The sun was slowly fading away up in the sky, seeing the half of its body lying across the skyline. We were already out of the forest, and onto the sidewalk. We kept on talking until we reached to her house. Both of us say our goodbyes and hugs. As she reached to the door, it was if everything froze. I was shocked, more like afraid. I turned with my mouth opened, and my eyes seeing the transferred student at my school. He smiled warmly at me, his grayness in his eyes swayed back and fourth. I panicked badly, wanting to ask the mysterious boy what happened, but my brain said not to. The boy’s face turned worried, and started to head in front of me. I didn’t want to waste my precious time on him, so I turn and headed to Lisam. But as my eyes reached to Lisam, her image began to fade away, smothering away into the mist.
“Oh my … LISAM!!” I horridly ran to her, my feet turning into blurriness while speeding. But the more closely I get, the more she disappears.
“LISAM!!” I cried once more, as burning crystals burst out of my eyes, slithering down my heating cheeks. But it was too late. Her head was now left behind, leaving the very last words she said. “See you soon … Xiah.” I screamed loudly, my arms stretched as far as it could go, as her floating head slowly went away, bit by bit. My other foot was about to take another step, until the transferred student caught me by my hip and pulled me in. I nailed on my knees and sobbed like a baby. Strains of my hair were stuck onto my face, all wet and slippery. My heart ached and ached, as if the hole formed into my heart, and the shovel dug in more into my heart, creating a bigger one each second. And right then, I was unconscious and knocked out, leaving me on the boy’s arms.
