Come and tell me those lovely lies.
Come and tell me no troubles will arise.
I will believe it just like I always do.
No matter how many times you don't come through.
Your here and I will pretend like its always been that way.
Even though you've been gone for so many a day.
Will you tell me this time I'm your only girl?
Or will you tell me that you bought me a necklace of pearls.
These false things excite me in an unimaginable way.
Your lovely lies leave me with nothing to say.
But I should know better for soon I'll be alone once more.
And I'll be dreadfully depressed done to my core.
I'll blindly wait for you to come back to me.
When will I ever accept what I see?
I wonder to myself as I sit here and wait.
I guess never because I could never accept my true fate.
So I'll go on pretending.
