I just started my two weeks of Saber Fencing on Monday. I'm so sore right now. I got whapped hard on the lower arm and wrist. I think I'm getting a bruise. Ha ha. Then my friend stabbed my butt by accident. That was pretty funny actually though. So it's cool (though the pain is hitting me now ^^; ). It's amazing all the differences between Saber, foil, and raper (that last one makes me laugh, I know, I'm horrible. "We thought it might be a raper" "The correct term in rapist, go back to sleep." Ha ha. Anyways.). In foil (the sissy version of the sports) one can only hit their opponent in the chest and stomach, no where else. And one must keep on hand up in the air behind them. In saber everything above the belt is cool to hit, this includes hands, arms, head and face. One also keeps their hand behind their back, it stays un-gloved (unlike the sword holding hand) and is a target. Raper is the bad arse of the sports. You can his anything.
The cloths we have to wear to play Saber are so hard to streach in, but we all try anyways. My friend when fully suited upp claims that she "feels like a power ranger." That always makes me laugh. Me and her are a great match agaist each other we can fight on the same level so it never gets boring. 3nodding But at the end of the day we all just want to eat chocolate, take a shower, and go to bed. sweatdrop It's great excersize though and builds a muscle and you caan los a lot of weight doing it too (fat weight, not muscle). I'm already a stick so I'm just getting muscle.

On another note I got the new Panic! At The Disco CD. It's great, I think it would be hard for anyone to not find a song on the CD that they don't like. Even those who didn't like the first CD. I give it a +10. I highly suggest it. It'll be a treat seeing it live. 3nodding
