Right now, I'm sitting at a table at Darkseas, staring at a hat. A hat made by Jade, and one of the strangest objects I've ever seen. For gods' sakes...there are safety pins on it!
I guess I'm now living at Darkseas. It's not something I ever expected to do, seeing as it makes the tavern even more of a target should some bounty hunter ever track me this far...but how could I say no? Aykon had a special room for me, just inside the kitchen. That's one of the nicest things anyone's ever done for me. He didn't even mind the hammock. I suppose I'm being quite repepetitive here, but I don't care that much.
I don't think Galerus is a very magical hat at the moment. Jade said something about a tribe having to bless the hats, so I'm assuming that imbues them with a magic of some kind. Wonder how the hats get to the tribe. Well, knowing Jade, I'd probably rather not know.
Today's a two-track day. I'm still trying to get over the fact that Aykon is alive. I mean, mentally I understand it all...but emotionally, ah, therein lies the rub. I know that there are many people who to this day believe I'm dead...but I haven't actually died. He has.
...I think I'd better wrap up this entry before I write something I shouldn't.
