Today was certainly an interesting day. I was hanging out at this hat shop called On Top, as I have been lately, and was attempting to escape. Out of nowhere Jade, the shopowner, brings this beat-up-looking hat with a funny green sheen. It's got some little...bangles?...on it as well as a feather or two. Strangest hat I've ever seen.
Anyway, she basically shoved it on my head. I wasn't sure what she was doing, so I tried to give it back to her. Tried. She wouldn't take it. Said that its name was Galerus and that it was mine. Wow.
So now, I'm sitting here in my new home, writing in my journal about my hat. My very strange hat. I'm not sure what I'll do with it...but I'll...take care...of it. I hope.
After I got the hat, I left it in my quarters and went for a walk. Zombies everywhere! Where were they all coming from? No...I don't really want to know.
I was walking through this creepy forest (to avoid the zombies) and I came upon a castle. I don't know what came over me, but I went inside. I found a near perfect replica of Darkseas! Then the strain caught up with me and I fainted.
When I came to, I thought I was dreaming. I took another walk through the forest and returned the castle, after I'd realized that it wasn't a dream. I saw Aykon, and he and I talked. I was shocked, to say the least. In my experience, the dead stay dead. But, he is this "Esper" thing...so I suppose it's okay.
In the end, he gave me this wonderful room. Right in the kitchen! And he said I could have a hammock! So here I am, in my new home (hope he doesn't mind) writing a journal entry about karma and hats.
