I basically have NO choice for college. because the assholes at Purdue don't tell the same story about financial aid and scholarships. We were told that the individual colleges give out scholarships, as well as the university itself. WRONG. PLUS, apparently, we don't qualify for ANY financial aid!!! WHAT THE HELL? My mom is a TEACHER, so you know she's not making much at all (what teacher does?), and my dad hasn't worked for over 15 years! Plus we have my grandpa, who does pay for some of his stuff but not all. So apparently we can afford the $20,000 tuition + other crap every year. Um, not without a shitload of loans, which I'm not doing, nor will I let my parents do. And then there's transportation to come home at breaks and stuff.
No, no, no. So looks like I have to go to Auburn. ND's not going to be any more helpful than Purdue. They have standards to uphold rolleyes I mean, I was leaning towards Auburn anyway, but I hate being forced into it. Okay, not entirely forced. I could go to UNO and just have to pay for gas for my car (literally).
