i loved you
and i told you
but you looked away
and never looked back

my tears fell for many nights
my heart broken for many months
my mind so full

i wondered how did you truly feel about me
was i nothing to you
but a pawn
to see how far youd get

i loved you
more than life
i thought once i could end this empty life of mine
but something held me down

i accepted what happened to me
but i swore i would not love again
not the way i loved you atleast
the hurt i felt would always be there
but i can replace it for months at a time

so turn away and never look back
cause i have done the same
