Of course I would be the one to prove a harmless sport dangerous. Like stupid Bella in Twilight stare only she was the one hitting people. Though, I was the victim of my own clumsiness the 2nd time. We were just practicing, and I got the idea to try with my left hand, just for fun. Yea...I misjudged one time, and the shuttlecock hit me right in the middle of my head. And my back is slightly sore, thank you Karen.
We finished so early in religion, so I ended up writing a poem that's not really sense-making, but it is. It really is. I felt dizzy after that, walking to psychology, so I wrote a poem about writing poetry ^_^ Another poem that doesn't really make sense. I was being purposely vague.
A glint of metal
Shine in the lamplight
Pale reflections
Blue under white
Come together
Closer, closer
Meeting in sharpness
Hard lines
Flowing red
Little, then more
Still, hardly any
Perhaps not now
A glimmer of hope
A shimmer of happiness
Heart-stopping
Breath-catching
Not today.
Not tomorrow.
Not ever.
Never.
No more.
Mind-numbing dizziness
Detatchment from the world
Severed
Brain-spinning
Confusion
Whirling white noise
Catharsis of emotion
Black on white
Numb with feeling
But peaceful
Ready to see
Tired of running.
It's me.

Spelled out in words
Incomplete
Imperfect
Insufficient
But real.
We had to listen to our LMEA stuff, and the rainbow song made me cringe. We did a TERRIBLE job on it. gah. It's so pretty, and we butchered it. But they're just singing notes. They don't see the words. They don't imagine painting a rainbow. They don't imagine they're singing it to someone. It's a song you'd sing to someone you care about a lot. They've ignored the heart of the song, and that's saddening. Imagination, that's all we need.
