Silence.
The dead quiet night.
Silence.
The muffled screams.
Silence.
The bruises gained in the middle of the night.
Silence.
The knife touching the skin.
Silence.
The blood dripping to the floor.
Silence.
The bruises ceasing.
Silence.
The knife put away.
Silence.
The smile on her face when she realizes that everything's okay.
