Ow..... When my boyfriend said I was due for an accident since I hadn't cut or bruised myself in months, he wasn't kidding....
Ballet is compared to football and called more dangerous for the body for a REASON. Especially where pointe dancing is concerned. I was balancing and suddenly pushed a little too forward and slipped. I bruised my hip horrendously and it even hurt to walk until I iced it for over an hour.
