An Adolescent Vampire

Chapter 4
"Haine...... I'm not a vampire anymore..... I'm a demon." My father whispered.
My heart stopped. He looked into my eyes and I felt something I've never felt before towards him.... fear. My pulse quikened and I didn't think. I ran out the door as quik as I could. The floor was still slippery and the path was still pitch blsck, but I ran. I heard someone chasing after me and I felt like screaming! I ran faster and practicaly ran into the door. The figure was getting closer! I yelped and yanked open the door then shut it on it's face. For a second, I ran more, my mind racing with lies, until suddenly, I remembered where I was. All around me hungry vampires were staring at me with their blood-red eyes and dripping fangs. I froze.
There was no one around to save me, and they were slowly walking towards me. I was backed into a wall, with nowhere to go! I screamed for Corona. When she finally ran in and was running to my rescue, I felt two teeth sink into my soft neck.
The other vampires held Corona back.
"Fight him off Haine!!! Fight him!" I heard Corona yell. I tried to obey her, but my body wouldn't react. I slowly felt myself getting weaker... and colder..... my vision blurred.....
"Haine!!!" I heard someone scream. Something flung the vampire off of me and I became unconscious.
I don't know how long I was unconscious for..... but when I awoke, there were four figures staring down at me.
"Haine... You're awake!" One of them laughed in releif then began to cry.
"We thought we lost you!" He hugged me. It took me a moment, but then recalled his name.
"How long was I out for Jake?" I asked quietly.
"A week." Another said. I smiled.
"Max! You're alright!" He smiled down at me. Then the smile slowly faded.
"Haine.... We've got some bad news for you." He said slowly. Jake released me.
"Bad news?" I repeated. Max looked at a girl. Corona, I remembered.
"You're a vampire Haine. The only way to keep you alive was to fill your veins with vampire blood. That vampire drank all of your mortal blood." Corona told me. The fourth figure, the guard, didn't say one word. I was speechless of coarse.
"What?!"
"You're a full blood vampire." Corona said.
