Another poem by moi. No particular inspiration, just thinking over a relationship in my book during French class...
The poems are each triolets, fittingly enough a French style of poetry. Putting three together makes them almost like a paragraph, with the first the intro, the middle the body, and the third the conclusion. So...enjoy the fruits of my not-paying-attention-ness!

This feeling I feel.
I’m free as a dove!

An emotion above,
Yet entirely real.
I think it’s love,
This feeling I feel.
I think it’s love,
This feeling I feel.
But is my love enough?
I think it’s love...
Can we rise above?
Are we stronger than steel?
I think it’s love,
This feeling I feel.
I think it was love,
That feeling I felt.
Pure as the feathered dove,
I think it was love.
Insubstantial fluff
Made my heart melt.
I think it was love,
That feeling I felt.
