The sky fortress is basically an island that floats around in the sky, impregnable from any attack. Or so it is said. Many nations have tried to take it down, but to no avail. It is commonly thought that it's full of riches, fertile land and unique creatures live there guarding unique crops and the such. No one has seen any of this though. It is only speculation. What they DO know is that the island is ruled by one cruel king though. He spills blood at the slightest cry of war against his island, and enslaves his enemies by the thousands.
